Community & Events
A sanctuary where hearts meet, food is shared, and silence finds its collective voice.
Akshayam & Annapagirvu
Annapagirvu, our daily food donation, is Anaham's daily act of seva. Every day, meals are offered to those in need, in the belief that no person should go hungry and that the act of feeding another is among the most sacred gestures a human being can make.
The word Akshayam means that which never diminishes, representing the bowl that never empties by filling another.
It is Anaham’s monthly community meal offering. On the first Sunday of every month, Anaham opens its doors to all. People and Sadhus from across the region are welcomed for a wholesome meal and the giving of clothing. This is not charity. It is community, built one shared meal at a time.
Aksharam: Education for the Deserving
Aksharam means letter, the first unit of language, the beginning of all knowledge.
Anaham's Aksharam initiative provides educational support to meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds, ensuring that financial circumstance is never the reason a capable young mind is left behind.
We believe that a child given access to knowledge does not simply change their own life. They change the lives of everyone around them, now and for generations to come.
To invest in a child's education is to plant a tree in whose shade you may never sit, but whose presence will bless the world.
Vastradaanam: Tiruvannamalai
Twice each year, Anaham travels to Tiruvannamalai, one of India's most sacred pilgrimage sites, to offer clothing and essential materials to the Sadhus of the temple. These are souls who have chosen a life of renunciation, and to serve them is, for us, a profound privilege.

Akanda Jebam: Every Third Sunday
Akanda Jebam, the unbroken chant, is Anaham's ongoing offering to the world.
Every third Sunday, from 6 in the morning until 6 in the evening, the community gathers in continuous mantra recitation for the welfare of all living beings, without distinction of creed, caste, or kind.
Twelve hours. One intention. The wellbeing of all.
Anyone who wishes to sit, chant, and offer their voice to something greater than themselves is welcome to join.
